    Francesca is the WordPress Core Team Lead at Yoast, where we believe SEO is for everyone. She is an accomplished educator, community leader, and public speaker.

    Francesca co-led the release of WordPress.org 5.3 and 5.4. She is now serving as the Core Team global representative and mentoring other women to get involved in making WordPress.

    One of the things she is most proud of is the blog she founded in 2013, C+B. With an editorial staff of more than eighty authors, C+B has helped thousands of Italian creative female entrepreneurs find their path throughout the years.

    Francesca is a passionate speaker and you can find her around the world talking about WordPress, community, open-source, women in tech, and small businesses. Right now she does it via Zoom from her living room. 

  • Imran Sayed

    Imran is a WordPress Developer at rtCamp. He is also a WordCamp Speaker, Organizer, WordPress Meetup Organizer, and a regular contributor to the WordPress community. He is also a core contributor in WordPress and has a rich experience in Node, React and Laravel.
    Apart from this, Imran has a great passion for teaching and sharing knowledge. You can check out his YouTube channel, where he teaches Programming on WordPress and Laravel.
    As a hobby, Imran likes to write blogs on medium and has a passion for photography.

    Building WordPress websites for nonprofits, optimizing websites with organic SEO strategies and saving animals are all part of what makes 2 Dogs Media owner, Jill Caren giddy with excitement. She comes with over 15+ years of experience building and optimizing websites in a variety of niches.

    Jill loves teaching and has had the opportunity to educate WordPress users locally as well as speak to pet bloggers at BlogPaws. Her specialty is making even the most technical explanations – be understood by even the most non-technical person.

  • Jim Echter

    @JimEchter – Jim and his wife run two businesses under the umbrella of True Creations. True Creations Woodturning (tcturning.com) and True Creations Quilting (tcquilting.com). Jim has an extensive background in high technology sales, marketing and customer service. He has been involved in several start-up companies but now follows his passion with his woodworking. Jim has a MS – Service Innovation and Leadership from RIT. He and his wife live in Penfield, NY and they have two adult children.

  • Joe A Simpson Jr

    During endless, sun-soaked days Joe A Simpson Jr works at Metro LA, one of the largest transit agencies in the country, fighting the good fight to ease gridlock around Los Angeles County. When their Lead Developer and CSS goddess both left to pursue other opportunities, Joe inherited a Headway-themed design without a child theme, and the rest is history.
    Over thirteen years later, he manages a growing WordPress blog network consisting of dozen project-specific or transit news sites. He brings expertise in User-Experience, Search Engine Optimization, and Accessibility to Metro’s Digital Strategy team.
    Joe is a Front-End Web Developer and User-Experience Designer specializing in WordPress solutions. He brought WordPress north of Los Angeles in 2019 as Lead Organizer for WordCamp Santa Clarita, is very active in the Community as a volunteer, speaker, is a member of the WordCamp US 2020 Programming Team, and is also a SiteGround Ambassador.

    For over 20 years, Kathy has built web applications for large Fortune 100 corporations, independent entrepreneurs, and everyone in between. Kathy has worked with a number of technologies, but feels most at home working with data-driven applications like WordPress. She is passionate about making complex technology easily accessible for everyone. She’s adept at finding solutions to complex problems and helping customers optimize their online presence. She has held numerous roles at Wordfence helping customers optimize their security posture and is a frequent speaker at WordCamps around the world.     Michelle Hayes began working with WordPress about three years ago. What started as a self-imposed challenge to beat a developer’s $6k quote turned into a passion for building websites with increasing complexity and lots of plugins.   • Miriam Goldman

    Miriam works at Kanopi Studios as a Technical Lead for the WordPress team, responsible for technical architecting, scoping out tasks for the development team, being a point of contact for the client, and delivering outstanding code. She has worked with WordPress since 2008, and has been heavily involved with the WordPress community since 2016.

    When she’s not in front of her computer, she’s either training karate (where she is a 3rd dan black belt), competing in latin ballroom dance, or playing clarinet in a local community band. If you want to win her love, good coffee or craft beer (no stouts!) are key.

    Miriam is also known for performing kata during lunch hour at WordCamps she attends. While this year might be virtual, get in touch, and she may offer to film one.

    Nathan is the Host at iThemes Training where he teaches WordPress and freelance business development topics via live webinar.

    Nathan is also the creator of MonsterContracts, a service that provides contracts for WordPress client work that are battle tested, attorney analyzed, annually audited, and member strengthened.

    As the founder of >ADVANCE Coaching, Nathan works with WordPress solopreneurs and business owners individually and in groups to help them become more successful in their businesses.

    Nathan has been working with clients to build websites since 1995. He is based in Birmingham, Alabama where he has been an organizer for WordCamp Birmingham (WP Y’all) for several years.

  • Shanta Nathwani

    Equipped with a Bachelors of Commerce in Information Technology Management and a Black Belt in Karate, there’s nothing Shanta Nathwani can’t do. She is a full-stack developer who specializes in WordPress, Node and React with a love for life and learning.

    A natural teacher, Shanta spent six years teaching WordPress courses at Sheridan College as well as at having given more than 40 WordCamp talks. Her topics include: data architecture, custom post types and ACF, as well as beginner topics like posts versus pages and how to create a website in 30 minutes. She served as a QA Supervisor at a software company for 2 years before starting her own company, Namara Technologies Inc., where she serves as the President & CEO.

    a Masters in Educational Technology and STREAM.
    William has been employed with NASA as an Internet and diverse
    innovation instructor and employed with the Florida Department of Education teaching teachers how to integrate digital learning in the educational curriculum.
    Teaching in higher education teacher in the areas of Educational Technology, Diversity in Education, he encourages college and university students to attend WC conferences and even takes several with him when attending or speaking.
    He has been involved in the WordPress community since 2012 and advocating for the continued involvement of youth, teens and young adults.
    William and his fiancé participate in the WPJax Meetups with involving youth creating the WPJaxKids Meetup.
